Strategic Plan Development
The Opportunity: The Georgia Foundation for Public Education (GFPE) supports educational excellence for students in Georgia. The Board of Directors sought to align the work of the Foundation on a set of measurable outcomes that would be compelling to donors and focus the organization’s grantmaking.
Our Services:
Interviewed Foundation board members, funders, grant recipients and state education leaders
Developed benchmark profiles of similar foundations
Analyzed data on past grantmaking activities
Facilitated the Board of Directors to identify four priority outcomes within which to focus the Foundation’s resources
Developed three strategic themes and related initiatives for enhancing the Foundation’s work
Created a detailed action plan for the most critical strategic initiative to launch first.
