Lakesha Goff

Dr. Lakesha Goff has been educating and inspiring both students and teachers in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta for over 15 years, while working at some of America’s most innovative schools including the Ron Clark Academy, SEED Public Charter School, and Ivy Preparatory Academy.  She has always loved taking a multi-faceted and creative approach towards student success, which led to her taking on leadership roles outside of her middle school mathematics classroom.  While working diligently in various capacities including Dean of Students and Assistant Principal, Lakesha found her niche developing teachers and helping schools implement strategic change.

As her work with teachers and schools continued, Lakesha felt compelled to share her insights with educators at large.  In 2019, she co-authored “C.R.A.F.T. Conversations for Teacher Growth: How to Build Bridges and Cultivate Expertise,” which provides educators and leaders with a blueprint to help maximize students’ success by building the capacity of teachers and teacher leaders.

Currently, Lakesha works in the Teachers College at Western Governors University on the Diversity Team helping students in various courses including The School as a Community of Care, Fundamentals of Diverse Learners, and Educational Technology using a feedback first approach.

Lakesha holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Howard University, a M.S. in Secondary Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and a doctorate from the University of Georgia in Educational Leadership.
