Strategic Plan Development
The Opportunity: The School District of Palm Beach County is the 10th largest in the United States with 185 schools, serving more than 167,000 students who speak 150 languages and dialects. Following appointment of a new superintendent, GSG was engaged to facilitate an inclusive strategic planning process.
Our Services: In 2017 and again in 2022, GSG conducted a strategic analysis, led strategy development, and supported teams of staff in action planning. Specific activities included:
Analyzed information from community forums, stakeholder perception surveys, and student achievement data
Facilitated sessions with district leaders to determine strategic direction
Presented draft strategic direction to principals and board members for input
Supported teams in developing strategic initiatives
Supported teams in developing initiative blueprint and action plans, including training of team owners and executive sponsors
Provided tools and processes to ensure ongoing monitoring, adjustment, and accountability during plan implementation.
